One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing (1975) Movie Description:
One Of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing is a 1975 comedy from Walt Disney Productions. The film title is a take-off on the 1942 British film, One Of Our Aircraft Is Missing, a war-time film considered one of the classics of the era.
A group of British nannies collaborate with Scotland Yard in an attempt to locate and retrieve top secret microfilm that was stolen by a Chinese espionage agent and cleverly hidden inside of a skeleton that is on display at the British Museum of Natural History.
The film is "veddy" British, from dialect to costuming. The humor is also distinctively British, loaded with double-entendres and sight gags. Shot entirely in Great Britain, One Of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing is a bit of an homage to WWII-era British cinema, reportedly a favorite of the late Walt Disney.
Derek Nimmo, Helen Hayes, Peter Ustinov, Clive Revil and Jon Pertwee are just a sampling of the many British film greats among the cast.
