Operation Dumbo Drop (1995) Description:
Traditions and symbols are intensely important to a Vietnamese Village on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. When they lose their village elephant in the vengeful crossfire of war, they feel lost and hopeless because a sacred elephant is necessary for a holy ceremony to keep their village safe. Along comes U.S. Captain Sam Cahill and U.S. Captain T.C. Doyle who make a commitment to bring the villagers a new elephant. Can an elephant be dropped out of a plane?
